This is hardcore

Among the many items to be found within the pages of the April issue of Nightshift is my review of Spinner Fall's new EP Monument, which features four tracks of very solid take-no-prisoners post-hardcore.

Also reviewed (by my fellow Sounding Bored founder Rob) is Indica Blues' debut LP Hymns For A Dying Realm, which boasts some sinister artwork and a supremely sludgy sound. The band are also the subjects of this month's Introducing feature. I caught them at the Punt a few years back and can thoroughly endorse them to anyone who's partial to the likes of Blue Cheer, Fu Manchu or Sleep.
