Diamond GOGGS

Not so very long ago, I was getting concerned that Ty Segall might be slacking off, only for him to announce a second Fuzz album and a new side-project, Broken Bat. Less than a month later and he's at it again, joining forces with Chris Shaw of Ex-Cult and regular partner in crime Charles Moothart to form GOGGS. Listen, Ty, it's not like I'm currently flush with cash and I already have an album wishlist as long as my arm - are you determined to bankrupt me or something?!

In other music news, The Jesus & Mary Chain are working on their first album since 1998's Munki, with Jim Reid telling Time Out New York that "it’s a more mature sound". That sounds like a bad thing, but time will tell.
